A Speech-Language Pathologist is a therapist with training in the diagnosis and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for both children and adults. Speech services help with delays in speech, language, stuttering, voice, attention, memory and problem solving disorders. Speech Therapy treatment helps individuals express their thoughts promoting a better quality of life. The Choctaw Nation Speech Pathology Department is available to all CDIB holders. Speech Therapy services are available at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina and at the Choctaw Nation Health Clinics in Durant, Hugo and Idabel.
