Providing care for all obstetrical patients, their unborn babies and a full range of gynecological care.

Eligibility

  • Must have a medical chart with a CNHSA health facility or:
    • CDIB, letter of descendancy, or tribal membership card from a federally recognized tribe
    • Social security card
    • Photo identification card (driver's license)
    • Current insurance information such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Insurance
  • For children under 19 years of age, the following documents are required:
    • Child's CDIB or a copy of either parent's CDIB
    • State issued birth certificate or hospital birth record issued by an Indian Health Service or tribal facility

Additional Information

The Women’s Health Clinic provides preventative gynecological care, including pap smears and breast exams. The clinic provider staff includes physicians, nurse midwives and physician assistants. Providers evaluate all presenting gynecological problems and perform hysterectomies and tubal ligations. They provide contraception as indicated. The clinic serves early adolescent to geriatric patients.

The OB/GYN department in Talihina provides labor and delivery services, anesthesia, recovery, postpartum care and Level 1 nursery services in a state-of-the-art facility. Board certified physicians and highly trained medical staff, including an International Board-certified lactation consultant and a counselor dedicated to women’s mental health, are also available to serve patients.
