Tutoring Request

Provides students with high-quality tutoring services in a virtual one-on-one environment.

Eligibility

  • Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member
  • Must reside within Choctaw Nation service area
  • Student in grades 4-12 enrolled in a public school or
  • Post Secondary students enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational training.
  • Required Documents include:
    • Tutoring Assistance Application (below)
    • Copy of student's current report card or progress report (grades 4-12 students)

How to Apply

Apply below; an education associate will communicate with the applicant via the email address provided on the application to collect required documents. It is recommended that the applicant apply with an email address that will be monitored frequently.

Additional Information

Tutoring services are available to Choctaw students, fourth grade to graduate level, who require additional academic support outside regular classroom instruction time. Varsity Tutors offers classroom resources and instruction tailored to students’ specific content needs.

Students approved for the tutoring assistance program can receive up to 20 credit hours per academic year of virtual tutoring services in core academic subjects, including language arts, math, science and history.

Eligible students can be enrolled in traditional education courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, concurrent enrollment courses, or vocational training.
