Accomplishing this by identifying community health needs, assuring the availability of quality health services and providing effective leadership in developing public health policies. The department is committed to working with communities to eliminate health disparities.
The conditions listed below are deemed reportable to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Public Health Department. Conditions deemed reportable must be reported to the Choctaw Nation by all Healthcare Providers or Administrators of Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) operating within the jurisdiction of the Choctaw Nation Reservation in a timely manner. - Alpha-Gal Syndrome
- Syphilis
- Spotted fever rickettsiosis (e.g., Rocky Mountain spotted fever)
- Measles (rubeola)
All cases must be reported to Choctaw Nation Public Health via electronic case reporting (eCR).
