A one-time payment of $150 to eligible Choctaw tribal members whose SNAP benefits will be affected by the government shutdown.
Eligibility
- Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) tribal member
- For CNO tribal member minors under the age of 18, a non-tribal member parent or guardian may apply on their behalf
- Must be approved for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and provide copy of SNAP Benefits card
- Must complete an Attestation Agreement

The Temporary Food Assistance Program is a one-time payment of $150 to eligible Choctaw tribal members whose SNAP benefits will be affected by the government shutdown. Applications will open in the Chahta Achvffa Member Portal on Nov. 3 and will close on Nov. 14.
- Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member or guardian of minor Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member
- Must be approved for SNAP and provide a copy of SNAP benefits card
- Must complete an Attestation Agreement in Chahta Achvffa
- Open to all ages regardless of residence across all 50 states
This program provides a one-time payment per approved SNAP recipient.
Tribal members must apply on the Chahta Achvffa Portal between Nov. 3 through Nov. 14, 2025. Applications must be made online only. No paper applications are accepted. Once verification is finalized, recipients will receive an EBT card within 10-14 business days.
Approved applicants will be notified by email on Nov. 17- 21 Make sure your current email address is correct in Chahta Achvffa.
Applicants may also log-in via the Chahta Achvffa portal to check for approval notification.
Guardians of tribal member children can apply. If one household contains more than one adult tribal member, each adult must apply.
Primary account holders will be able to complete the application for themselves and their minor dependents. Other adult tribal members within the household will need to complete a separate application.
