Temporary Food Assistance Program

A one-time payment of $150 to eligible Choctaw tribal members whose SNAP benefits will be affected by the government shutdown.

Eligibility

  • Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) tribal member
    • For CNO tribal member minors under the age of 18, a non-tribal member parent or guardian may apply on their behalf
  • Must be approved for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and provide copy of SNAP Benefits card
  • Must complete an Attestation Agreement

How to Apply

Applications will open in the Chahta Achvffa Member Portal on November 3, 2025, and will close on November 14, 2025.

Additional Information

This program provides a one-time payment per approved Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipient. Nationwide applications are accepted and open to all ages.
