Relocation

Assistance, up to $5,000, for eligible tribal members who have accepted a Choctaw Nation position and whose worksite is at least 50 miles further from their current residence than the distance from their previous worksite.

Additional Information

Relocation assistance is available for any tribal member who meets the distance requirements, including transfers. The assistance is distributed either by reimbursement or direct pay to vendor, and relocation assistance amounts are subject to federal and relevant state income taxes.

Expenses cover relocation of household goods, moving truck rental and miscellaneous household fees including lease breakage reimbursement, utility costs for service hookups, and related service charges.
