Offers a variety of imaging technology and radiological services at various Choctaw Nation Health Clinics.

Eligibility

  • CNHSA Eligibility Guidelines
  • Must have a medical chart with a CNHSA health facility or:
    • CDIB, letter of descendancy, or tribal membership card from a federally recognized tribe
    • Social security card
    • Photo identification card (driver's license)
    • Current insurance information such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Insurance
  • For children under 19 years of age, the following documents are required:
    • Child's CDIB or a copy of either parent's CDIB
    • State issued birth certificate or hospital birth record issued by an Indian Health Service or tribal facility

Medical X-ray capabilities are available at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina and the Choctaw Nation Health Clinics in Atoka, Durant, Hugo, Idabel, McAlester, and Poteau. The complexity of X-ray service depends on the size of the facility. The largest radiology departments are located at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina and the Choctaw Nation Regional Medical Clinic in Durant. Services available in Talihina and Durant include: diagnostic radiology, bone density, CT scanning, ultrasound, MRI, mammography, and fluoroscopy. Digital mammography is available at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina and the Choctaw Nation Health Clinics in Durant, Idabel, McAlester and Poteau. All exams are sent digitally to Diagnostic Imaging Associates (DIA) located in Tulsa for interpretation. X-ray reports are generally received at our facilities within 24 hours unless there is an urgent request for the report.
