This program strives to improve outcomes for Native American youth aged 14-24 in Battiest, Rattan and Wright City public schools by increasing student engagement in school and encouraging cultural and self-identity exploration, as well as boosting self-confidence and leadership abilities. In addition, CHPP improves job and post-secondary school readiness, offering support to Native American youth through after-school tutoring, counseling and mentors per a leadership training internship camp each summer.
