
Child Care
Provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Child Care Centers are licensed through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

This program supports children by encouraging each unique developmental stage and learning style, including temperament, personality and cultural background. Children thrive in an environment where they have the freedom to learn, create and play. The Child Care Program offers access to many developmentally appropriate programs and activities that focus on learning while helping them be successful at their jobs. The Child Care Program encourages learning and a love for learning.

Grant Details
Public Law 102-477 is the Indian Employment, Training, and Related Services Demonstration Act of 1992, as amended by Public Law 106-568, the Omnibus Indian Advancement Act of 2000. Public Law 102-477 is unique among Federal legislation, in that it allows Federally-recognized Tribes and Alaska Native entities to combine formula-funded Federal grants funds, which are employment and training-related into a single plan with a single budget and a single reporting system.
