Meet the Adult Reentry Program Team
Published December 21, 2024The Choctaw Nation Adult Reentry Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower Native Americans with a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) who are over the age of 18, have a substance use disorder or co-occurring substance use and mental disorder, and are either sentenced in a correctional facility within four months of release or on probation and at risk of reincarceration.
This program offers comprehensive peer recovery support services, fostering healing and resilience through culturally sensitive guidance. In addition to recovery support, participants gain access to essential resources, including employment opportunities, educational pathways, and secure housing solutions.
Led by experienced staff who have navigated similar challenges, the program provides compassionate support tailored to the unique needs of the community. With a focus on personal and professional growth, the Choctaw Nation Adult Reentry Program strives to create a future filled with hope, opportunity, and cultural pride. Through collective effort, it lays the foundation for lasting success and well-being.
