Current Eligibility

The COVID-19 vaccination is now available to anyone 5 years and older at any Choctaw Nation Clinic.

  • Pediatric patients (5-11 years old) can receive the pediatric Pfizer vaccine.
  • Adolescent patients (12-17 years old) can receive the Pfizer vaccine.
  • Adults (18+ years old) can receive any available vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson; brands vary by clinic)

Health officials highly recommend everyone eligible get the COVID-19 vaccine. You can also get your flu vaccine at the same time.

Choctaw Nation encourages everyone to get the Bivalent COVID-19 vaccine. This blended vaccination protects patients from both the original COVID-19 strain and the new Omicron BA.4/BA.5 variants. Patients can receive the vaccine two months after their primary vaccination or booster dose of any monovalent (original formula) COVID-19 vaccine.

Eligible individuals may receive a different vaccine than initially received. CDC’s recommendations now allow for the “mix and match” dosing for booster shots.

A tentative schedule of when vaccines are available in each clinic is below. Days and times are subject to change without notice. Calling for an appointment is best.

Days of the Week Available

Vaccines are given by Community Health Nursing

By appointment or walk-in: Every Tuesday, Moderna vaccines are given 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Adult Pfizer vaccine is given every 3 weeks on a Friday

Pediatric Pfizer vaccine is given on Tuesdays. Adult vaccines are given 2 Fridays per month

Walk-ins Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for Moderna vaccine 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Pfizer for adults is given at Broken Bow clinic by appointment.

Walk-ins Tuesday and Thursday

By appointment only Tuesday and Wednesday. 5-11 age group is through public health nurse on Monday.

Walk-ins Monday through Friday during clinic hours

Walk-ins Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
