Choctaw Nation Recognized on Forbes List of Best Employers by State for 2026

DURANT, Okla. — The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) has been named one of Forbes’ Best Employers by State for 2026, earning the No. 5 ranking among 35 organizations in Oklahoma. Choctaw Nation was the top employer among Oklahoma-based companies.

The annual ranking recognizes employers that excel in workplace culture, employee satisfaction and opportunities for professional growth. According to Forbes, more than 245,000 employees across all 50 states participated in the survey. Respondents were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer and evaluated factors such as compensation and benefits, management style, company reputation, workplace flexibility and career advancement opportunities.

With more than 13,000 associates, the Choctaw Nation plays a significant role in the state’s economy and workforce development. The Forbes recognition highlights CNO’s commitment to fostering a workplace culture that supports employee success and growth.
