Halito,

There are 24 hours in a day, but sometimes it seems as if we can never accomplish everything that we need to do because we’re always on the go and in such a hurry.

February is Time Management month, which emphasizes the importance of managing time and how it can lead to a balanced life.

Below are some tips that can help you achieve a balanced life:

  • Create SMART Goals – create goals that are Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely;
  • Schedule your day – develop a schedule either on paper or online to organize your day, and allow for extra time in case you encounter delays or other issues;
  • Prioritize Tasks – take care of the important things first
  • Respect Your Energy – your energy has limits, regardless of your age, so schedule important tasks or activities for your high-energy times; and
  • Say “No” – learn to say no to requests that don’t fit into your schedule.
    You’re in charge of your time and when you can find the right balance, it can help you lead a more productive life.

Yakoke and God bless!
