Overview

Objective: Review Choctaw word order from lessons 1, 2, and 3.

Become familiar with Choctaw word order by repeating the noun phrases. Differences between Choctaw and English language word order will be noted.

  1. chukka tohbi – white horse
  2. towa okchakko – blue ball
  3. chukfi achʋffa – one rabbit
  4. issi tuchina – three deer
  5. pinti untuklo – seven mice
  6. wak pokkoli – ten cows
  7. aiimpa lusakbi ushta – four brown tables
  8. iti okchamali hannali – six green trees
  9. isht ishko homakbi tuklo – two purple cups; glasses
  10. shukcha lusa chakkali – nine black purses; bag
  11. hushi homma ushta ilʋppa – these four red birds
  12. issuba lusa chakkali yʋmma – those nine black horses
