Genealogy Assistance Request

The Choctaw Nation Genealogy Department provides ancestry information from the Dawes Roll to assist individuals in verifying lineage for CDIB applications and family histories. Applications for the Dawes Roll were accepted between 1898 and 1906 from tribal members living within tribal territory in what today is southeastern Oklahoma. You must be a descendant of someone enrolled with a blood quantum by the Dawes Commission to prove tribal heritage.
