Michael Davis

Michael “Mike” Davis learned to speak Choctaw from his full-blood Choctaw parents. His mother attended Indian boarding school and was forbidden to speak the Choctaw language. Mike said many Choctaw parents didn’t teach their children the language because they went through similar situations.
