Team Asher

Asher Mendenhall, the three-year-old son of McAlester Casino Security Officer David Mendenhall, receives gifts and a send off to the Special Olympics from the casino employees.

District 11 Tribal Councilman Robert Karr, General Manager of the McAlester Casino Lila Tucker, and Security Officers were in attendance. Team Asher is a group of Choctaw Nation employees who support the Special Olympics and the Choctaw youth in the true Choctaw spirit of Faith, Family and Culture.

The Special Olympics will be held in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on May 16, 2024.
