McMannis turns 80

Earl McMannis, Jr. was born July 14, 1944, in Vallejo, California, and moved to Texas in December of that year.

Earl spent most of his childhood in Corpus Christi, Texas. Always interested in the Native American cultures, he enjoyed digging and hunting for artifacts.

In 1965, he joined the Air Force. After serving eight years in Asia, Earl returned in 1974. He was stationed in Arizona for the majority of his time, retiring in 1983 to Austin, Texas, where he resides today.
