Melanie Jo Rutledge

Melanie Jo Rutledge, 43, passed away June 30, 2021. Melanie was born Oct. 18, 1977, in Talihina, Okla., to Cardin “Gene” and Vicki (Bacon) Rutledge.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents James E. Bacon Sr. and Geraldine Bacon; paternal grandparents Cardin Rutledge and Virginia Rutledge; and aunt Donna Gail “Nonnie” Leatherwood.

Melanie is survived by her mother; brothers Joey Rutledge and spouse Kellie, and Tanner Rutledge; nephews Tanner Trent, Tracer Rutledge, and Tripp Rutledge; uncle Eddie Bacon and spouse Sharada; aunts Patricia Vrla and spouse John, Lisa Ammons and spouse Greg, Jana Loose and spouse Dan; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
