Gilbert Wilburn Bacon

Gilbert Wilburn Bacon, 91, passed away June 10, 2021. Gilbert was born Dec. 2, 1929, in Whitesboro, Okla., to Josephine (Woods) and Roosevelt Theodore Bacon. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Carol; brothers Theodore Bacon, Everett Bacon, Leonard Bacon, and Elmer Bacon; and sister Imogene Owens.

Gilbert is survived by his children Hoyit Bacon, Marta Bacon, Cindy Huston, Whitney Bacon and spouse Beck; grandchildren David Miller, Zac Skiles, and Garrett Bacon; great-grandchildren Kyndal Carolina, Luna Skiles, and Whitney Skiles; sisters Melba Bowman, Thelma Johnson, and Jerline Flowers; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
