Youth Camps

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Special Projects Department with a staff of 7 offers a wide variety of camps and events for Choctaw youth. Camps offered during the summer include Cultural Enrichment, Golf, Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Stickball.

The Special Projects Department also hosts youth teams to compete in All-Native tournaments like the Madness in March and the Jim Thorpe Games.

They also host many events at the Choctaw Nation Tvshka Homma Capitol Grounds & Village including Traditional Bow Shoots, Christmas in the Park, and a Haunted House & Movie during the Youth Outreach's Harvest Carnival.

Choctaw Nation Health Services also offers Make A Change Camp, a summer fit and culture camp, that is held on the campus of  Jones Academy. 

 STEM Camp

STEM Camp is held on the Jones Academy campus July 9-14th and 16-21st and is for rising freshmen through the 12th grade. Students selected will attend this camp for free. Students must have successfully completed Algebra 1 and hold a CDIB. Highlights of the STEM Camp include…workshops, fun field trips, college trips, cultural enrichment & more. The deadline for submitting applications is quickly approaching next month.
