Technology Allowance Program

*** Technology Allowance 2018 is now closed and will re-open at 8 am CST, January 21, 2019

The Choctaw Nation offers a one-time technology allowance to Choctaw tribal members throughout the United States who are currently attending an accredited college or university.  If you received a laptop under the College Computer Distribution Program, you do not qualify for this allowance.

Students must be a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma; however, there are no blood quantum requirements. Funds are limited and students must submit a complete application and meet the eligibility requirements. If a student attempts to purchase non-educational technology, the funds will be forfeited and funds will be returned to the Technology Allowance Program. If a card is lost or stolen, the student will be re-issued a new card, minus the re-issue fee. Students must provide a working email that they check regularly. If a student changes mailing addresses, the student must contact the office immediately.
