Programs and Services

All of the services provided by the Choctaw Nation have been carefully designed to ensure that each member of the tribe can look forward to a bright, prosperous future. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is honored to present this extensive list of the programs and services available to the Chahta people.

Services

Graduation Stoles (College)

Presented as a memento to Choctaw tribal members who are completing a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree program.

Graduation Cords (High School)

Presented to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma graduates to keep as a memento.

Graduation Cords (Post Secondary)

Presented as a memento to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal members who are completing a long-term technical program (at least 6 months) or an associate degree.

College Freshman Year Initiative (FYI)

Closely assists Choctaw students throughout their freshman year and fosters success through graduation.

Project RISE (Renew Indigenous Strength with Empowerment)

Connecting Native American students to college and career opportunities.

Adult Education

An online academy for Native American students who did not finish high school and want to earn their High School Equivalency Diploma.

Student School & Activity Fund (SSAF)

Offers an annual $100 grant to purchase school supplies and clothing for Choctaw students possessing a tribal membership card.
