All of the services provided by the Choctaw Nation have been carefully designed to ensure that each member of the tribe can look forward to a bright, prosperous future. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is honored to present this extensive list of the programs and services available to the Chahta people.

Services

Choctaw Homeowners Assistance Fund (CHAF) – ARPA

Assistance is available for qualified charges for mortgage payments, past due property taxes, past due homeowners' insurance, and utilities, which have not been paid with other funds.

Disability Food Security (ARPA FRF)

Provides eligible Choctaw Nation tribal members with the opportunity to receive a $200 monthly grocery allowance.

Economic Impact Recovery Program – Adult (ARPA FRF)

Provides eligible Choctaw Nation tribal members with the opportunity to receive annual payments on a pre-loaded debit card to be used toward necessary expenses.

Economic Impact Recovery Program – Dependent (ARPA FRF)

Provides eligible dependent minors who are Choctaw Nation tribal members, or who are eligible to become CNO tribal members, with the opportunity to receive annual payments to be used towards necessary expenses.

Elder Food Security (ARPA FRF)

Provides eligible Choctaw Nation tribal members with the opportunity to receive a $200 monthly grocery allowance beginning September 2021.

FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance (CARES Act)

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

Provides eligible Native American households within the Choctaw Nation service area with the opportunity to receive $60-$500 one time per year towards household water bills.
