By taking advantage of the services offered by CAB, Christal was able to develop a business plan, save $2000 in her CAB savings account, open a new business, and receive $4000 in matching funds. Christal used her savings and the matching funds to get her new business started by purchasing needed equipment and supplies.
Floyd Murray IV
was able to pay for the Fall 2010 Semester using a portion of his savings in his CAB account and a 2 to 1 match from the CAB reserve fund. Floyd will continue to save until CAB has matched a total of $2000 of his savings with $4000, giving him a total of $6000 to fund his education. Floyd expects to graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from SOSU this spring and plans on continuing on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree. Floyd’s career goal is to become a military officer.
