Virgil James

Virgil James, 77, passed away Feb. 9, 2024. Virgil was born Feb. 24, 1946, in Broken Bow, Okla., to Frank Dixon and Flora Mae Tonihka James.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruthie James; daughter Lenora White; brothers Joseph James and June Wilson; sisters Deloris Battiest, Laura James, and Martha Jones; and grandchildren Franklin White, McKenzie White, and Kari White.

Virgil is survived by his sons Larry James, Louis James, and Leslie James; daughters Linda White, Loyce Polk, and Lawana Dunnigan, 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
