Vernon James Willis

Vernon James Willis, 68, passed away July 22, 2023.

Vernon was born Feb. 1, 1955, in Talihina, Okla., to Elesten Sr. and Lilliella Samuel Willis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Elesten Willis Jr. and Norman Samuel; and sisters Elfreda Willis and Ramona Stricklin.

Vernon is survived by daughters Veronica Tisho and spouse Derek, and Sherrill Jasso and spouse Fernando; brothers Glenn Willis and fiance Lisa Pearman, and Edgel Samuel and spouse Jane; sister Alestine Thomas; grandchildren Jackson Tisho, Jackie Tisho, Gabrielle Jasso, Andrea Jasso, Destiny Jasso, Veronica Jasso, and Fernando Jasso Jr.; three great-grandchildren; special friend Dorothy Willis; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
