John Wayne Emmert Sr.

John Wayne Emmert Sr., 91, passed away Feb. 27, 2022. John was born June 25, 1930, in Albion, Okla., to Bertha Ann (Bryant) and Robin Belton Emmert. He was preceded in death by his parents; Poppa Cabbage; daughter Sheila Stegall; and siblings Jack, Betty, Frances, Bob, Mark, and Patti.

John is survived by his wife Janie Emmert; children Rocky Emmert, Johnny Emmert and Keri Jo, Melvin Emmert and Melissa, and Darren and Jo Brown; grandchildren Megan, Ryan, McKinnlee, Caitlin, Chase, Lacey, Kenton, Emily, Tucker, Payton, Chris, Cole, Walker, Taylor, Kason, Saydee Sue, Kelsey, and Saysha; great-grandchildren Makayla, Everlynn, Tinlee, Tachet, Sora, Raylie, and Stephanie; great-great-granddaughter Amaya; sisters-in-law Jean Emmert and Flo Emmert; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
