William Riley (Willie) Harris was born December 14, 1892, at Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma. His father was Walter Churchill Harris and his mother was Sally Washington. He married Margaret Kathryn (Maggie) Stinson at Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma. They had two sons, Hastings, and W.R. Harris, Jr. He attended the Free Pentecost Church. He was a farmer for years and raised corn, cotton and popcorn. He also raised cattle and hogs. They sold eggs and had a milk separator and sold cream. He worked on the pipeline for several years and retired in 1954. He loved to break horses and always had a horse to ride. He also loved to hunt, fish and camp out. He lived to be 92 years and 3 months old, and died on March 10, 1984 and was buried at Harris Cemetery, McCurtain County, Oklahoma. William (Willie) Riley and “Maggie” Margaret had two sons:
- Hastings I. Harris born June 18, 1916 at Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma.

He and Pauline had six grandchildren and one great grandchild when he died in 1985. - William Riley, Jr., born June 3, 1927, Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma. Married Lorene Pearl Harrison on August 28, 1945, Idabel, Oklahoma.

They had eight grandchildren.
