Raymond Wilmon came to Indian Territory an orphan accompanying his father’s sister, Nancy Emiyahtubbee, wife of Wallace Emiyahtubbee in 1903.
Raymond was the son of Sam Wilmon and a woman named Rosie, all fullbloods.
He made his home in the McMillan and Durwood, Indian Territory areas and is the only Wilmond enrolled on the Dawes Commission Roll books.
All Choctaws/Chickasaw Wilmonds or Willmonds may trace their ancestry back to this man.
He place of burial is unknown but believed to be somewhere in the Ardmore area.
