Nettie Ella Harris Daughter of Walter Churchill & Sarah Elizabeth Warren
Nettie Ella Harris was born April 15, 1901 to Walter Churchill and Sarah Elizabeth Harris in Pleasant Hill, Indian Territory. She married Lewis J. Ridge on February 4, 1917 and divorced him on July 25, 1942 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Nettie was a wonderful devoted mother and a very talented person. She devoted much time to her church teaching Sunday school, singing and providing many services for the congregation. Her life was a great testimony for Christian living, which affected many young people in the community. Many youth gathered in her home for wholesome fun and entertainment. After the divorce Nettie supported her family as a seamstress, which gave her a reputation of being the best in the business. She made all types of clothing and costumes winning first in competition in the Four States Fair in Texarkana in children’s dress and rodeo queen costume for Judy Storey who was crowned national queen. A great sense of humor, high morals, and loving expression were passed on to her children who have passed on the same attributes to their families. She is remembered by family and friends with much respect and love. Nettie’s children and their issue:

Married Mary Occo Short on September 15, 1945 in New Boston, Texas. Their issue:
