Georgia was born to James and Birdie Cullar in Caddo, Indian Territory on November 4, 1903. She had two brothers: James (deceased) and Buck. She had one sister: Bessie. The family moved to Waurika, Oklahoma.

Georgia attended Oklahoma University and earned a teaching certificate. She taught in a one room schoolhouse. She married Carl Doss (deceased) and they moved to Texas. She had two children: Carla June and Douglas.

She worked at the Salvation Army as a switchboard operator, then she worked at North Dallas High School in the office and study hall. When she was 55 years old, she learned to drive a car. Georgia went back to school and earned a Vocational Nurse License and worked at Baylor Hospital for many years.

She belonged to the Baptist Church. She loved and served the Lord all of her life and was always helping others. Georgia went to Heaven to be with Jesus in 1984 and is buried in Dallas, Texas.

At the time of her death, she had two children and four grandchildren: Cathy Wilson Tadlock, Cynthia Wilson Underwood, David Wilson, and Dede Doss Page. There were three great grandchildren: Lee Underwood, Dusty Underwood, and Justin Page.
