Ida Benton

Ida Benton (Naylor) was born March 2, 1872, probably in the vicinity of Conser, I.T. Her parents were Charles H. Benton and Frances Folsom (Benton). Ida lived and grew up in the Conser community and married Newton C. Naylor on September 3, 1891. They had several children, most were enrolled. The enrollees were: Frances Arizona, born July 6, 1893; Mary Caldona, born October 19, 1895; Simon Gilbert Lee, born February 21, 1898; Hester, born January 4, 1901; Lester, new born, born April 25, 1903. Records indicate that Newton and Ida were living near LeQuire in San Bois county, I.T. at the time of enrollment. Their oldest children were born there. Ida died October 10, 1916 and is buried with her husband in the Conser community cemetery. Newton died in 1945
