Rev. Earl Ray Wallace, a resident of Hugo, died at the age of 35.

He was a Baptist minister and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He was born April 30, 1953 in Unger and had been a resident of Choctaw County all of his life.

Rev. Wallace was ordained to the ministry in April of 1984.

He married Cathy Pence on May 25, 1985. She survives him.

Other survivors include two brothers, Donald LeFlore and Willie Jim Robinson, both of Hugo; five sisters, Bertha Jacob of Admore, Elizabeth Smithhart of Tuskahoma, Pauline Tom of Soper, and Josephine Gallant of Hugo and Cathy Nelson of Hugo; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
