Lona Edna Warren, 91, longtime Stigler resident, passed away March 12, 2006, at Coweta. A native of Lequire, she was born June 16, 1914, to Robert Noel and Chaney Spradley Noel. She grew up at Lequire where she received her formal education.

She was married to Paul Warren in 1931 and made their home together. They moved to California for several years and started a family. She moved back to Stigler in the early 1960s.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who loved quilting and crocheting. She was ordained to preach in the Pentecostal Holiness Church in 1969. She loved her church and her church family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Edward Noel; one sister, Ethel Noel; one daughter, Helen Barbee; and one granddaughter, Rhonda Lynn Ashley.

Survivors include two sons, John Wayne Warren of Porum and Charles Fuzzy Warren of Longtown; one daughter, Diana Rose Adams of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren, Janet, Scott, Lisa, Diana, Cindy, Steven, Charles, and Michelle; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
