Leo Winship, 77, of Broken Bow, died December 31 in Oklahoma City Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City.

A retired Weyerhaeuser Co. employee at Wright City, Winship was also a veteran, having served in the U.s. Army during World War II. He was born October 223, 1911 at Battiest and was affiliated with the St, Matthew Church of Broken Bow.

Winship was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Winship on March 17, 1985.

Survivors include three daughters, Sally C. Winship and Audre E. Winship both of Broken Bow and Patsy F. Winship of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two brothers, Leroy and Anderson Winship, both of Broken Bow; three sisters, Ina Caldwell of Valliant, Edna Harris of Wright City and Mary Tisho of Broken Bow; and Five grandchildren.
