Jimmy Harold Winship, Jr., age 33, was born December 2, 1964 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Jimmy Winship, Sr., and Linda Winship. Harold passed away on July 3, 1998.

Harold was a 1983 graduate of Rattan High School and a member of the first state championship baseball team at Rattan High School in the spring and fall of 1981 where he played second base. He was also voted most athletic of his senior class. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1987 with a B.S. Degree in Electronics. He was employed by Weyerhaeuser Company in Wright City as a Plywood Maintenance Supervisor. This year marked his ten year anniversary with the company.

Harold enjoyed eight years of marriage to his wife, Sherry. They have three children: Lyndsi, five, Kayli, two, and Easton, ten months. He was a devoted father and husband.

Harolds hobbies included hunting and fishing and he was a member of the Pusmataha County Sportsman Club where he won big Bass of the Year in 1997. Harold loved spending time with his hunting and fishing buddies and most of all his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will always remain in their hearts.

Survivors include his father, Jimmy Harold Winship, Sr., of Rattan; mother, Linda Winship, of Finley, Oklahoma; grandfather, Anderson Winship, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, grandmother, Alma Fuller of Hugo, Oklahoma; a brother, Terry Don and wife, Terri of Durant, Oklahoma; a sister, Sherry Winship and husband, Jackie Cook , of Bonham, Texas; a niece, Loghann Winship, of Bonham, and Kike Cook, also of Bonham, and numerous cousins, relatives and friends that he enjoyed.
