MDavid Wayne Watson, 26, of Shawnee passed away March 17, 2009, in Oklahoma City. He was born November 13, 1982, in Ada to Julian Wayne Watson and Rosada Lynn Tiger Bowden. He was raised in Norman and attended Norman North Public Schools. He had lived in Shawnee for the past six years.

He worked as a driller installing cable for Superior Construction. He loved playing all sports, including pool, horseshoes, grilling out and enjoying life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His son was the center of his life.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Webster and Geraldine Tiger; paternal grandfather, Clyde Watson; uncles, Timothy Bo Tiger and Steven Tiger; and an aunt, Barbara Whittaker.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Rosada and Philip Bowden of Norman; father, Julian Watson; son, Gavin Layne Watson of Shawnee; grandmother, Julia Watson; three sisters, Julie and Charles Douglass of Norman, Micah Watson of Norman and Kerry Bowden of Tucson, Arizona; a brother, Zach Watson of Norman; half-brother, Cody Watson of Tulsa; aunts and uncles, Linda Tiger, Anthony Tiger and Mike Tiger, all of Oklahoma City, Patsy Tiger of Tyler, Texas, Martha Watson, Phyllis Tiger, Leonard Tiger and Daryl Tiger, all of Shawnee, Pam Tiger of Noble, Gina Hill of Mena, Arkansas, Teresa Watson, Brian Watson, Johnny Watson and Mike Watson, all of Watson; and a nephew, Christian Douglass.
