He was a member of Hampton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Dora Wickson of Fort Townson and Tammy Parrish of Hugo, Oklahoma; three great-granddaughters, Melinda Wickson, Helen Parrish and Monica Sims.
