Pauline S. Tom, 62, passed away on November 10, 2008, in Soper. She was born on February 12, 1946, in Talihina.

Pauline was a long-time resident of Soper. She married Leonard Chuffy Tom on November 16, 1965, in Soper. She was employed by the Soper School System but also worked for the Indian Health Services. She was a member of Soper Assembly of God Church. Pauline loved her family, church and friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; adopted parents, Rev. Ben and Mattie Jackson; biological mother, Alice Jacob; sisters, Bertha Jacob and Cathy Nelson, and brother, Rev. Earl Wallace.

She is survived by her sisters, Josephine Gallant of Hugo and Liz Smithart of Tushka; brothers, Willie Robinson of Hugo and Donald LeFlore of Antlers; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Claudia Tom of Hugo, Mike and Keshia Tom of Greenwood, Arkansas, Wayland and Dena Tom of Kennett, Missouri, Larry and Dottie Tom of Bennington; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Scott Taylor, Sharon and Jim Davis, and Lenora Jackson all of Hugo; 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
