Delia Mae Tom, 77, of Keota, Oklahoma, passed away June 10, 2004, at the Haskell County Nursing Center. She was born September 13, 1926, in Sans Bois to Susie Terrell. She was raised by her grandparents, Houston and Louisa Terrell.

She lived most of her life in the Kinta, Oklahoma, area and attended school at the Sans Bois School House and later went to the Kinta School. After World War II, she married Albert D. Tom. He was a World War II veteran. They were married for over 40 years before he preceded her in death. They lived in several areas of Oklahoma but always came back to the Kinta area.

Mrs. Tom worked for the Sunshine Laundry. One of her favorite pastimes was fishing.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Boyde Wayne Tom of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; cousin, Johnny Terrell of Kinta; sister, Katherine Mayhall of Stigler, Oklahoma, and many other relatives.
