Virgil Delano Stafford, 66, of Eagletown, Oklahoma, passed away May 6, 2004, in Texarkana, Texas. He was born October 26, 1937.

Virgil was affiliated with Panki Bok Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Panki Bok Community in Eagletown. He was a retired oil field foreman. He loved to camp, fish and hunt. He also enjoyed all church functions, going to singings and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Louisa Stafford; brothers, Charlie Stafford and J.D. Stafford, and sister, Geraldine Stafford.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Virgil Jr. and Anna Stafford of Huntington Beach, California; daughters and son-in-law, Kim Stafford of Irvin, California, and Nicky and John Scharbach of Huntington Beach; brothers, Richard Stafford of Canton, Texas, and Vernon Stafford of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Fern Stafford of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Justin Miller, Zachary Miller, Eric Stafford, Steven Stafford, Tessa Scharbach, Taylor Scharbach, and David Scharbach; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Christine Simpson, and a host of friends.
