Paul Melvin Sexton, 60, of Atoka, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 10, 2000 at Durant, Oklahoma. He was born February 29, 1940 at Atoka to David and Ruth Mae (Ott) Sexton.

Mr. Sexton was a retired/disabled automatic transmission mechanic and a vetran. He was a member of the Cane Hill Methodist Church in Bentley, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Beatrice Casey, Edith Greenwood and Betty Lou Jefferson.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Melvin Sexton, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of Sherman, Texas, and David Christopher Sexton of Texas; two daughters, Rita Diane Sexton of Las Vagas, Nevada and Sherry Darlene Sexton of Lebanon, Oregon; ten grandchildren; four brothers, the Rev. Daniel Sexton and wife, Cathrine, and Isaac David Sexton and wife, Wanda, all of Caney, Oklahoma, Joshua J. Sexton and wife, Debra, of Sherman and Timothy C. Sexton and wife, Shirley, of Asher, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
