Leah Sweat, 95, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away April 30, 2001 at Tulsa. She was born September 4, 1905 in Ada, Oklahoma to Ira Jefferson and Lillie (Hampton) Carter.
A former resident of Hugo, Oklahoma she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and had been employed as a sales clerk. She had lived in the Hugo area most of her life. She was married to Arthur Sweat who preceded her in death in 1980.
Also preceded her in death were a son, Robert Sweat, and a daughter, Nancy Moore.
Survivors include a daughter, Gail Boyne of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
