Newman James Robinson Jr., 57, a general contractor, passed away February 3, 2005, at a North Richland Hills, Texas, hospital. He was born January 27, 1948, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of Newman J. Robinson Sr. and Opal (Sears) Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Linda Vick; grandparents, original Choctaw enrollees Raymond L. Robinson and Auntie Folsom Robinson, and Walter and Susie Sears.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lou, of Bedford, Texas; daughters, Stacey Ramsey and husband, Steve, of Colleyville, Texas, Missi Wood and Ronnie Griggs of Cleburne, Texas, Jennifer Dickerman and husband, Greg, of North Richland Hills, and Lori Russ of Irving, Texas; son, Brad Robinson and wife, Lindsey, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kevin Stagner and Chase Wood, Ashley Dilmore, Kristin and Casey Newman Dickerman, Dalton, Rayne, and Scye and Bryce Newman Robinson; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Newman was truly loved by family and friends. Precious memories are in our hearts of Newman’s unselfish love for his family. He will be missed but not forgotten.
