Joseph E. Payne, 70, of Moyers, Oklahoma passed away on December 12, 1994 in Talihina. He was born September 25, 1924 in Kosoma.
He resided in the state for most of his life and in the Moyers area for the past 46 years. He had worked as a construction worker, rancher and drove a school bus for Moyer School. He was a member of the Christian Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Lois, of the home; one daughter, Linda Moon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, Roger Payne of Eubanks; one brother, Joshway Payne of Valliant, Oklahoma; two sisters, Josie Phillips of Asher, Oklahoma and Jewell Crump of Sapulpa; one grandson, Kevin Payne of Eubanks, and several nieces and nephews.
