Susie Jane Wilson Noahubbi, 78, passed away October 22, 2007, in Dallas, Texas. She was born January 11, 1929, in Hochatown, Oklahoma, the daughter of Phillip and Bitney Wade Wilson. She had three brothers and two sisters.

Susie attended both Wheelock school for girls and Haskell Indian School. She and Nelson Noahubbi were married in 1961 and were married for 40 years until Nelson’s death in 2001.

Susie was a longtime seamstress from which she retired in 1990. With her talent as a seamstress she made many garments for her children and grandchildren.

She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers. Most of all, she enjoyed watching her husband, sons, daughter Lulu and grandchildren play softball, basketball, football and bowl.

She was a member of the Dallas Indian United Methodist Church, being baptized by the Rev. Jerry Byrd on June 24, 2001. Susie was a true blessing and a friend to all. She loved spending time with her husband and family. She will truly be missed by all here on earth, but the angels are rejoicing because one of their own is now at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband; five sons, Russell, Carl, Joe Benny, Danny Osage and James Noahubbi Sr.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Thomas and Wanda Lulu Osage Smithson of Garland, Texas, and Bobby and Gail Ann Noahubbi Plunkett of Mesquite, Texas; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
