Luther D. Noah, Sr., was born in Albion, Oklahoma, in 1926, to Alfred B. Noah, Roll Number 5908, and Hattie Mae LeFever Noah. He served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II.

In 1951 Luther married Blanche Schenkenberger, who had come to Oklahoma to work as a nurse at Talihina Indian Hospital. After their first child was born, the couple moved to Tulsa where they raised their family to value education and service to others. To provide for his family, Luther worked for Nelson Electric for approximately 35 years, receiving the Hans Norberg Award of Excellence.

A sincere Christian, Luther was devoted to his family. The family attended Tulsa Bible Church and, at home, Luther led his family in Bible study. He enjoyed playing the piano while his family sang hymns. Besides playing the piano and clarinet, he enjoyed amateur radio, gardening, and, in later years, painting landscapes.

Luther was a proud father and grandfather. His survivors will remember him with love, gratitude, and respect.
