Helen Noah, 58, of Battiest, Oklahoma passed away January 10, 1999 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born March 31, 1940 in Battiest.

She had lived in the community most of her life. She was a cook at the Choctaw Nation Head Start in Bethel and was a member of Bethel Hill Methodist Church. She and Sim Noah were married June 20, 1960 in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Noah was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elias Noah.

Survivors include her husband , Sim Noah of Battiest; four daughters , Cheryl Gainer and husband, Michael, of Hugo, Oklahoma; Pam Noah and Dena Noah, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lynell Noah of Battiest; one brother, Wayne Maytubby of Tulsa; one sister, Wanda Mitchell of Idabel; her grandmother Lena Noah of Hugo; two uncles, Able Noah of Oklahoma City and Ben White of Snow, Oklahom.
