Annabelle Nichter, 91, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away February 18, 2005, at her home. She was born October 25, 1913, in Higgins, Oklahoma, to Bill and Melvina Pusley.
Annabelle married Paul Nichter on May 15, 1941, in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club of Latimer County and she won several blue ribbons for her quilt-making abilities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Garrett Pusley and Isaac Nelson; three sisters, Salina Anderson, Ada Tackett and Bessie Sumpter.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Nichter, of the home; two daughters.
